The old Muncie Motor Speedway closed in the late 80's/early 90's. This is all that is left.

The most dedicated racer at the track that day
I remember my dad telling me a story. One time that my dad was down in the outer banks. And he was on the beach. Well, my dad said here comes the soul. Beat the s*** station. Wagon in Dennis Anderson was drunk off of his a** and they were trying to catch a snake. With a 35 gallon drum bucket. And my dad said Dennis walked up said Hayman. We use your bucket for a minute, my dad goes. Yeah caught back them damn snake
Goofy ahh video
Thank you to whoever recorded this! It means a lot to be able to hear his words.Ever the class act that he is,sharing the glory bestowed upon him with those who were around him.A fine example.
Not much of a reaction!
I love this interview.
I was there. It doesn't get better than FLYNNVILLE TRAIN! Brent and his guitar melt me. Tommy, ( drums) is the best! Joseph, ( bass) is the best! Brian ( lead singer and Brent's brother) is the best! This is a CLEAN band that does AMAZING music. Kudos to Brent on " sleepwalk"! And btw...Brent, you still racing? Hoping to see you at the track.
Rest in peace, Tracy.
I am in love with Brittany Ashman 😍
That’s where I live
Brent's a good dude who knows his Pontiacs.
I love this song just went to listen to them today and it's Brett's birthday today and he got to play this song an joe nailed it with the bass guitar. I loved it all 😍
Taco Bell sells this shit
Wait, if this was in Vegas, where were the other two lanes?
Wanna really feel and hear the fuel cars? Stand at the fence near the start line. It'll rattle your insides.
Heftig man!
Nothing like it😳

There is no smell like it..
0:26 the guy in the back right haha he almost dropped his phone
Wow! do we love this guy, Army is the best of the best
He’s a smart guy one of the few out there
Nothing better then the sound of those Hemis screaming.
Boy this is a genius here tractor pulling is not drag racing what stupid people we have who think they know it all
Just came across this video. PMDKIDFORLIFE! 😊 Love it! Thanks for the ride along!
Damn that could make cutting your fields. Really Fast
I'm surprised Karen didn't get the whole event shut down due to a noise complaint.
What's the price tag on those things? Fun to watch and listen.
OUCH!!! That was a good whack he took on that hand!!!😳 he kept er’ rubber side down tho💪
Good Gawd. I thought, "Oh , ok, they have a compact/ light weight class now, that's cute " * It's been a lot of years since I went to a tractor pull Then you show his pull........ He SHIFTS GEARS halfway down,.. and carries the front wheels off the ground to the fullpull line pretty much. Ok.... So........... Not A Toy.
Looks more like eased out of in an attempt to get the tires to hook up better.
@@SOU6900 Ya could be. I didn't notice if the blower intakes wiggled or not. Still pretty impressive. Even nicer if it is that throttle controllable while making that kind of power. Very neat.
I recall these lil pullers being referred to as "Mini Rods" Only got to see them a few times in Louisville, KY in Freedom Hall. Small, but pretty wild. I miss going to truck/Tractor pulls like I did growing up in the TN/KY area. Don t really see those events in FL. They prefer mudding down here, which is pretty fun too
Ken Veney "Veney's Vega" was my favorite Funny Car and he was my favorite driver as a kid in 1972. He raced a lot in CA so I got to see him for years until he retired from driving 1984-85. I'm so happy to see him still involved in motor sports🎉🎉🎉
gee buddy , think u can go on and not wet ur panties when he quits racing
I’ll try not too 😂😉😂
I didn’t know Ken was into tractor pulling! He used to be one of the best drag racers out there!
Ive seen alot of his heads on tractor pulling engines
That hot rod always goes straight!! What a balancing act!!💪
Love watching this over and over just love listening to the stories
Thumbs up to the camera man for risking his life
Thanks. I try my best
@@cameraman8626 😂😂
lmao
I love these videos. I saw my first nitro funny car at Englishtown, N.J. back in the early 70's. (I think it was Bruce Larson in the USA 1) It was louder than ANYONE can describe and feeling the sound waves pounding your body has to be felt to understand.
I experienced a P-51 fly-over at very low altitude going full speed - I nearly jumped out of my skin! These 10,000 hp nitromethane dragsters accelerating just about equal that!
These definitely surpass a p51 in the sound department
Went to many tracktorpulling event. 2 RR Griffons on 1 tracktor, that's impressive......
LoL the dude on the cell phone got reckt
Tough indian chicks.
awesome!
He was my favorite driver and truck in the 90s I met him back then when our local fair was having the monster truck races. I remember when he was signing my poster I was trying to tell him I was a fan of his but I don’t think the words actually came out LOL. I was excited to meet this guy that I watched on TV all the time.
I'd like to hear what else Scott Stephens has to say.
One of the best interviewers back in the day! Absolutely deserves a spot in the HOF!!
What's the difference between a tractor pulling engine and a dragster engine
There's a ton of differences, tractor pulling is drag racing with the brakes on.
They are probably tuned and cammed for more lower end power because they have a load behind them whereas a drag engine just has to move the car.
Who owns the land now ?
Lot of childhood memories there
It was a real good track I wish I could find some pictures of my dad and uncle
Gary is a was a great competitor. I would love to see more footage from all the Monster Truck Hall of Fame inductees. I take it no one has any footage from the 2019 inductees?
R.I.P. Mr. Koester
The two trucks that he sold to England became Raging Bull & Bandit - there's footage of them on my channel (Vid: UK Monster Truck Show 1996)
Classic Army. He could take the most serious monster truck subject you could think of and make it hilarious somehow
